Jenny Wynne-Jones trained at Bromley and Portsmouth College of Art, and took a post-graduate diploma at London University. After her large family grew up, and having done some teaching, she was able to take up sculpture full time. She models her work in clay, and then it is cast in bronze in editions of nine, or cast in bronze resin in editions of 30, which are of course more moderately priced. She also models stylised heads and busts in stoneware clay, that she fires to a high temperature so that they are frost resistant, and are thus suitable for a garden setting as are all her larger sculptures. |

She also makes maquettes or small studies, which are between 26-30 cm high, such as 'Diana' and which are in bronze resin or bronze for interiors. Jenny expresses a feeling of tranquillity, spirituality and peace in her sculptures, which are mainly of female figures and children. She sometimes uses members of her family, such as Ben, Lucy and Kate. |
